Effective April 1, 2011, when applying for Bus Operator positions with the Milwaukee County Transit System, an employment application must be completed. Resumes will not be considered in lieu of a completed application for a Bus Operator position. For positions other than Bus Operator, a completed application and/or resume is acceptable. - Read the entire job announcement and job application process first.
- Carefully review the qualifications as listed on the job description. Make sure you meet all of the qualifications.
- Fill out the application, and follow all directions.
Answer every question completely and honestly. (An incomplete application may not be processed.)
Be specific. Describe your education, skills and experience thoroughly.
Provide accurate and complete information: dates, addresses and phone numbers.
A separate application must be completed for each position for which you are applying.
- Submit application by deadline as listed, no later than 4:30 p.m. on the closing date. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered. In the case of bus operator positions, applications are accepted continuously.
