Effective January 29, 2012 MCTS introduced several new service changes. During this transition a special hotline will be staffed to answer any of your questions regarding the upcoming service change. Customer service agents are available at 414-937-0460 every day from 6 AM to 6 PM for a limited time. Lists of new and changing stops can also be found here.

Ticket and Fare Prices

Adult Fare (age 12 or older)

Cash $2.25  
Tickets 10 for $17.50  
Weekly Pass $17.50 Valid for unlimited riding 5:00 a.m. Sunday through 5:00 a.m. the following Sunday
Monthly Pass $64.00 Valid for unlimited riding from the first of the month through the last day of the month

Note: Weekly and Monthly Passes are good for unlimited rides on regular MCTS routes only. Those riding Freeway Flyers with a Weekly or Monthly Pass will need to pay an additional $1.00 cash each time they ride.

Child Fare (ages 6-11)

Cash $1.10
Tickets 10 for $11.00

Note: Under age 6 – free when accompanied by someone age 12 or older who pays a fare.

Senior Citizen, Medicare Card Holder and Disabled Person Fare

To receive reduced fares, persons 65 years of age or older or persons with disabilities must present a Milwaukee County Transit System photo I.D. or valid Medicare card.

Cash $1.10
Tickets 10 for $11.00

Note: Anyone presenting a Medicare card is eligible for this fare.

Premium Fare for Freeway Flyers and UBUS Flyers

Cash $3.25
Premium fare tickets 10 for $23.50
Applicable fare, pass or valid transfer Plus $1.00
Children (6-11), seniors (age 65 and over),
Medicare card holders and disabled persons		 Cash $1.60 or reduced fare plus 50 cents)

Note: Those riding Freeway Flyers with a Weekly or Monthly Pass will need to pay an additional $1.00 cash premium each time they ride. U-PASS and Commuter Value Pass are accepted as full fare on Flyer and UBUS routes.

Waukesha County Service

Additional zone charges required by Waukesha County are applied as follows: A 35-cent zone charge is paid along with the Freeway Flyer fare when traveling on MCTS Route 79.

Ozaukee County Service

Adult fare age 12 or over $3.25
Premium tickets 10 for $23.50
Weekly Pass, Monthly Pass, regular ticket or valid MCTS regular transfer Add $1.00 cash
Children (6-11), seniors (age 65 and over), Medicare card holders and disabled persons Cash $1.60 or reduced fare ticket: Plus 50 cents
