Transfers are issued upon request with payment of a cash or ticket fare and are valid for further transportation on any bus at any stop within the time limit, one hour. Transfers will be issued only upon request and only at the time the fare is paid.
Transfers are good for a 50-cent discount on Wisconsin Coach Lines (WCL) adult fares. WCL riders that transfer to select MCTS routes will receive a 50-cent discount with a valid WCL transfer. This does not apply to Route 218 which is a Waukesha County route.
Passengers may transfer between MCTS Route 10 and Waukesha Metro Route 1 and Route 218 at Brookfield Square. A valid transfer or pass is required when transferring between systems. If a transfer from Waukesha Metro is needed, an additional 25 cents is required. If a transfer on MCTS is needed, payment of full MCTS fare is required.
