What Is U-PASS?

UPASSU-PASS gives you unlimited transportation flexibility! You can save hundreds of dollars in gas, maintenance costs, and reduce wear and tear on your car – all while skipping the hassle of driving in rush-hour traffic.   • It’s a semester-long bus pass that can be used on any MCTS bus route. The cost is part of your university tuition or fees, so there is no additional charge when you pick it up or use it.
  • Use your U-PASS to travel for any purpose and to any route destination. It’s good at any time on any day, including weekends, holidays and even during breaks and recess periods.
  • Your U-PASS is good on all MCTS and I-43 Ozaukee County Express Freeway Flyer routes.

Where Do I Get My U-PASS?

That depends on whether you’re a UWM, Marquette University, MATC, MIAD, Kaplan College, Milwaukee Career College, Bryant & Stratton College, Anthem College or Everest College student. Check the page for your school below to see where to pick up your U-PASS.

How Does the U-PASS Help Disabled Students?

If you are eligible to participate in the Milwaukee County Transit Plus program, your U-PASS can be used to waive the initial Transit Plus portion of the fare for each trip you take. To find out more about this benefit, call (414) 343-1700. All MCTS bus routes are wheelchair accessible.

How Do I Get My Bryant & Stratton U-PASS?

Who Qualifies for the Bryant & Stratton U-PASS?

Any Bryant & Stratton day or night student at the Downtown or Bayshore campus qualifies for the Bryant & Stratton College U-PASS.

How Do I Use the U-PASS?

If you qualify for the program, you will receive a sticker to be placed on your Bryant & Stratton identification card. It is valid for one semester. Each time you ride a Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) bus, you must present your Bryant & Stratton identification card with valid sticker.

Are There Routes That Offer Direct Service to Bryant & Stratton College?

Yes. There are many routes located throughout Milwaukee County that provide direct, no-transfer service to the Bryant & Stratton Downtown campus, as well as the Bayshore campus. They are:

How Do I Get My Anthem College U-PASS?

To get your U-PASS, first see the Financial Aid department and then see Student Services to obtain the actual pass and discount offers. New students are eligible to pick up your U-PASS after your second Tuesday of class.

When Can I Pick Up My U-PASS?

You can pick up your U-PASS any time that Student Services is open. Usually from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and until 8 p.m. on Fridays.

Who Qualifies for the Anthem College U-PASS?

Any Anthem College student currently taking classes is eligible for the U-PASS.

How Do I Use the U-PASS?

If you qualify for the program, you will receive a sticker to be placed on your Anthem College student identification card. It is valid for one semester. Each time you ride a Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) bus, you must present your Anthem College identification card with a valid sticker. Please note that the U-PASS program does not apply to Waukesha Metro 1 or CoachUSA Route 901.

Any full-time undergraduate student who pays the activity fee qualifies for the Marquette U-PASS.

If you qualify for the program, you must present your Marquette identification card as well as your U-PASS card each time you ride a Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) bus.

How Do I Get My MATC U-PASS?

U-PASS is good for unlimited rides on the Milwaukee County Transit System. For eligible students (six or more credits), it’s already paid for in your student fees, so pick up your U-PASS at the table outside the Student Services office on your campus:

NEW students begin pick up on Monday, January 9, 2012 (campus hours vary)

CONTINUING students begin pick up Tuesday, January 17 through February 2, 2012

Hours of operation starting on January 17, 2012 will be Monday-Thursday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm and Friday 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Who Qualifies for the MATC U-PASS?

Any MATC student taking six credits or more qualifies for the MATC U-PASS.

How Do I Use the U-PASS?

If you qualify for the program, you will receive a sticker to be placed on your MATC identification card. It is valid for one semester. Each time you ride a Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) bus, you must present your MATC identification card with valid sticker.

Your MIAD U-PASS is available for pickup at the Campus Life Office, room R45B. Visit the office from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Who Qualifies for the MIAD U-PASS?

Any MIAD student enrolled for six credit hours qualifies for the MIAD U-PASS.

How do I get My UWM U-PASS?

All U-PASS distribution will take place at the Parking & Transit Office on the ground floor of the Union starting Tuesday, JANUARY 17, 2012.

HOURS: Monday through Wednesday – 8 am to 6 pm; Thursday – 8 am to 5 pm; Friday – 8 am to 3 pm.

Starting Monday, JANUARY 30, 2012, U-PASS will be available for pickup during regular posted business hours.

Who Qualifies for the UWM U-PASS?

Any UWM student who is taking at least one course for credit on the Kenwood Campus and is charged the student segregated fee qualifies for the UWM U-PASS.

How Do I Use the U-PASS?

If you qualify for the program, you will receive a sticker to be placed on your UWM identification card. It is valid for one semester. Each time you ride a Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) bus, you must present your UWM identification card with valid sticker.

How Do I Get My Everest College U-PASS?

Everest students are provided with their U-PASS on the first day that they begin classes when they receive their student ID.

Who Qualifies for the Everest College U-PASS?

All active students qualify for a U-PASS.

How Do I Use the U-PASS?

The U-PASS is provided as a sticker on your Everest student ID. When you board the bus, please show your student ID to the operator.
