Service Alerts for Route 44

• Due to the resurfacing project on eastbound I-94 the on ramp to I-94  east at 68th street is closed. To avoid this closure and to also avoid congestion, Route 44 and will detour as follows:
  Eastbound ONLY Route 44 (from 76th & Kearney)
  Continue east on Kearney to 68th Street, north to Bluemound, east to Wisconsin, east to regular route. 
  
• Effective Monday, April 16, 2012 Routes 44, 54 and 67 will be detoured off on National Avenue and 92nd Street between Becher Street and Hayes Street until further notice due to the closure of the intersection at 92nd Street and National Avenue. During this time please use the following stops in that area:
  
  Board Route 44 buses at Lincoln Avenue and 92nd Street or 84th Street and Becher Street.
  
  Board Route 54 buses at 90th Street and National Avenue.
  
  Board Route 67 buses at 90th Street and Lincoln Avenue or Hayes Street and 92nd Street.
  
  
• Effective Monday, October 3, 2011, Routes 10, 12, 14, 30, 31, 40, 43, 44, 46, 48, 49, 79, 90, 137 and 143 will be detoured off of Wisconsin Avenue

  between 2nd Street and Broadway Street due to construction on the Wisconsin Avenue Bridge. Routes traveling both eastbound and westbound will be detoured . To reduce congestion, routes will be taking two different detours with Routes 12, 14, 31, 40, 43, 46, 48 and 137 traveling via Michigan Street and Routes 10, 30, 44, 49, 79, 90 and 143 traveling via Wells Street and Kilbourn Avenue.
