Catch a Milwaukee County Transit System or Ozaukee County Express Freeway Flyer to Summerfest’s Mid Gate from a park-ride lot. Other options are to ride a regular route to downtown, or park downtown and catch the Shuttle to Summerfest’s North Gate. See Seasonal Services Fare Guide for fare costs.
NOTE: All times are approximate.
Freeway Flyer Service
Catch a Milwaukee County Transit System Freeway Flyer to Summerfest’s Mid Gate from a park-ride lot where parking is free (State Fair is charging $4 to park this year during Summerfest). Service begins one half-hour before and ends one half-hour after Summerfest ends. (Please keep in mind, Flyers may be slightly delayed during weekday evening rush hours) VERY IMPORTANT - Park in designated spaces at the park-ride lots to ensure buses and patrols can get through the lots easily. Cars that are parked illegally could receive tickets and/or be towed by local authorities. In order to keep your car safe in a parking lot, we recommend you do not leave anything of value in your car and do not leave anything in view in the passenger compartment. Always lock your doors and report any issues to the police agency where the lot is located.
Downtown Shuttle Service
Remember the Downtown Shuttle is a great way to avoid getting caught in a traffic jam. Park for less away from the fest, Shuttle in, Shuttle out and easily escape the crowds near the festival grounds. (See map above).
Ozaukee County Express
The Ozaukee County Express (Route 143) provides Summerfest service from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. each day starting at the Saukville Walmart (Hwy 33/Green Bay Avenue). The bus will depart approximately 13 minutes later from the Target/Home Depot (Hwy 60) in Grafton.
