NSBRT.png

Following the successful launch of CONNECT 1, Milwaukee County is working to add a second route to the new bus rapid transit (BRT) system. Project leaders want to hear from you as they work through the preliminary design and environmental phases for the project.

The Milwaukee North-South Transit Enhancement project is planned to enhance service for current MCTS PurpleLine riders and intersect with CONNECT 1 (East-West BRT) at 27th Street and Wisconsin Avenue. The project will increase frequency, add amenities and serve community members along the 27th Street corridor.

Project team members will be sharing information about the project and gathering input from the public at the upcoming community events:

  • Aug. 16 – Indaba Nights (2450 W. North Ave., Milwaukee)
  • Aug. 20 – Puerto Rican Family Festival (Veterans Park, Milwaukee)
  • Aug. 25-27 – Mexican Fiesta (200 N. Harbor Dr., Milwaukee)

This project will enhance transit in several ways. What is most important to you? TAKE SURVEY
