Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley Calls on the Community to Shape Future CONNECT BRT Service


February 27 at 4:00 p.m. 

Join County Executive David Crowley as he kicks off the first listening session about the future CONNECT 2 BRT line. This investment in infrastructure will strengthen one of the County’s most-traveled routes, the PurpleLine, which averages 5,900 rides a day. The project is also an investment in transportation equity along the 27th Street corridor, home to members of diverse races, incomes and abilities who depend on transit service.  

WHO: County Executive David Crowley asks Milwaukee County what matters most to them about the next Bus Rapid Transit Line 

WHAT: The community will weigh in on the future CONNECT 2 BRT service, which will link people to 50,000+ jobs and essential services, such as medical centers, community resource centers and grocery stores 

WHEN: Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 

WHERE: Wilson Senior Center, 2601 W. Howard Ave., Milwaukee. Take the PurpleLine to 27th Ave. and Howard or parking is available.
