Provide Input on the Future CONNECT 2 BRT: Join Community Meetings on February 27, 28 and 29

Future CONNECT 2 Proposed Route Map

Fresh off the successful launch of CONNECT 1, Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) is looking to connect even more of the county with bus rapid transit (BRT) service. The community is invited to learn more about the proposed CONNECT 2 BRT route at virtual or in-person meetings held on February 27, 28, and 29.

Also known as the North-South BRT, this project will enhance service along one of MCTS's top five busiest routes, the PurpleLine. The proposed route is twice as long as CONNECT 1 and involves five different municipalities across the county. MCTS wants to get feedback about CONNECT 2 from all citizens and stakeholders, including those who live and work along the proposed route, elected officials, and more.

“In less than a year, CONNECT 1 has already become one of the top ten most popular routes in the County. Riders tell us they want to see more of the enhanced features BRT provides. We are excited to bring BRT to 27th Street next,” says David Locher, manager of enhanced transit at MCTS.
