Bublr Bikes Installs Station at MCTS Headquarters

Milwaukee, WI - The Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) is teaming up with Bublr Bikes to install a bikeshare station near Johnsons Park at 17th & Brown in Milwaukee.

The station, which is located across the street from MCTS Headquarters, is the first bikeshare station in the neighborhood.

MCTS and Bublr Bikes are continually working together to better connect people across Milwaukee County. Other examples of the ongoing collaboration include:

  • More than 80% of Bublr stations are co-located with MCTS bus stops
  • Bublr stations are announced via MCTS on-bus audio announcements
  • The Buslr Pass is an integrated RFID pass that allows users to move seamlessly between MCTS and Bublr

“The strongest communities are ones that prioritize and integrate all forms of transit,” said Matt Sliker, MCTS Integrated Marketing Manager. “This new bike station-bus stop combo is just one more innovative way we’re making it easier to get around Milwaukee.”

“MCTS has been a fantastic partner since day one,” said James Davies, Bublr’s Director of Operations and Planning. “Having a Bublr station at MCTS Headquarters is a perfect addition to our ongoing partnership. I’m really looking forward to other great things we’ll work on together in the future.”
