MCTS Buses Will Pick You Up and Plow the Street at the Same Time

Milwaukee, WI – Look out snow drifts, the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) has a new service that will make you a thing of the past. Introducing the MCTS Plow Bus, the only ride in town that will plow your street and also take you to work.

On April 1st every one of MCTS’ 400 buses will be fitted with a plow that can plow the street while also driving its route. MCTS drives more than 18 million miles a year, meaning a lot of chances to tackle winter.

“The MCTS Plow Bus will be just another way Milwaukee County is making sure our roads are safe in winter,” said M.R. Plow, head of MCTS Plowing Operations. “The Milwaukee County Highway Division already does an amazing job clearing and salting roads, adding these 400 buses to the County’s already large fleet of plows will ensure we can handle anything winter throws our way.”
