MCTS Celebrates Bucks' NBA Championship Win with Special Message on Buses

MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) is helping celebrate the Milwaukee Bucks’ victory over the Phoenix Suns in the NBA Championship by displaying a special message on every bus in its fleet.

Digital screens on the fronts and sides of all 358 buses on the streets of Milwaukee County will soon be flashing the words “CONGRATS BUCKS! / NBA CHAMPS!”. Some buses started displaying the message minutes after the win; others will begin as they depart the stations for the first time on Wednesday morning.

Congrats, Bucks, on the historic win!

The NBA Championship Parade is taking place on Thursday, July 22nd in downtown Milwaukee, followed by an outdoor celebration near Fiserv Forum. Multiple bus routes will be detoured from their regular routes during the festivities. Visit RideMCTS.com/Alerts for updates that day.
