Construction Detour off Windlake Avenue from 20th Street to 16th Street

Due to construction, Routes 20 & RR3 will detour off Windlake Avenue from 20th Street to 16th Street.
The following NORTHBOUND TRIP bus stops will be INACTIVE during the detour:
- S20 & Windlake (stop ID 2143)
- Windlake & Harrison (stop ID 2144)
- Windlake & S18 (stop ID 2145)
- Windlake & S16 (stop ID 2146)
Please board at the following bus stops during the detour:
- Regular stop before the detour - S20 & 2745 (stop ID 2142)
- Regular stop after the detour – S16 & Lincoln (stop ID 2147)
The following SOUTHBOUND TRIP bus stops will be INACTIVE during the detour:
- Windlake & S18 (stop ID 2072)
- Windlake & Harrison (stop ID 2073)
Please board at the following bus stops during the detour:
- Regular stop before the detour – S16 & Windlake (stop ID 2071)
- Regular stop after the detour – S20 & 2761 (stop ID 2075)
Detour Route RR3 (via Rt 20 & BLUE) | 16th Street Viaduct National-Clybourn
Start Date: Mon, Oct 6, 2025
Ends: Fall 2026
Due to bridge construction on the 16th Street viaduct, the Route RR3 will detour via National Avenue, 6th Street, and Clybourn Street to cross the Menomonee Valley.
The following NORTHBOUND bus stops will be BYPASSED:
- S16 & Pierce (2159)
- N16 & Canal (2161)
- N16 & St. Paul (2162)
Please board at:
- Regular Stop – S16 & National (2158)
- Temporary Stop - 16th & Clybourn (NE corner)
- Regular Stop – N16 & Wisconsin (2164)
The following SOUTHBOUND bus stops will be BYPASSED:
- N16 & St. Paul (2056)
- N16 & Canal (2057)
- S16 & Potawatomi (2978)
- S16 & Pierce (2059)
- S16 & National (2060)
Please board at:
- Regular Stop – Clybourn & N16 (2055)
- Regular Stop - S16 & Mineral (2061) (south of National)
