Transit Plus Fares and Service Area

 

You can go anywhere within Milwaukee County as well as to some areas of Waukesha and Ozaukee counties.

  • Transit Plus operates the same days/hours as MCTS buses. Rides are generally available from 4:30 am to 1:00 am.
  • Cost is $4.00 for each van ride, with the exact amount paid in cash or by using Transit Plus WisGo ID (For those enrolled in a long-term care program, a higher fare may apply.)
  • You may take another passenger with you for an additional $4.00 each way 
  • Personal Care Attendants ride free

 

Transit Plus WisGo ID

Riders are able to use their Transit Plus WisGo ID card or UMO app, to pay their fare on Transit Plus vans and on MCTS fixed route buses. Click here to learn more about Tranist Plus WisGo ID.

Transit Plus Van Service Area

To find out if your address is in the Transit Plus van service area, follow these steps:

  • Click on the “View larger map” button Google_fullscreen_icon.png, in the upper right corner of the map.

  • A new window will open, then click on the magnifying glass icon Google_fullscreen_icon.png, in the red box in the upper left corner of the screen.
  • Type the address in the box and hit “enter.”
  • A red dot will appear on the map; you may have to zoom out to be able to see it. The dot must be within the gray area to be served by Transit Plus.
