MCTS Reinstates Mask Policy on Buses | View Alert

In partnership with Milwaukee County, the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) will require everyone to wear masks on County buses.

We have been working over the past year to modernize our fare collection system. To help make the process easier, we recently announced three phases in our transition to the new system. This phased approach includes estimated timeframes provided there are no further supply chain delays. The new system is expected to launch in mid-2023, alongside Milwaukee County’s first Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service, introducing a new era of transit in Wisconsin.

Check back to this page for additional information as we progress through the phases!
