  • Route 49U will be eliminated due to low ridership. The route number will be retired. 

  • Bus service from Brown Deer Park and Ride Lot to UWM will still be available for passengers via Route 68, which will be extended to serve UWM in Fall 2025.

  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year’s Day

Please note that this route runs during fall & spring semesters only. It does not run during the summer months.

The Brown Deer East Park & Ride Lot stop on Route 49U provides a connection to the Ozaukee County Shared Ride Taxi. The Ozaukee County Transit System's Shared Ride Taxi provides service to the general public, and door to door transportation for the elderly and disabled within Ozaukee County.
