Our community knows that MCTS bus operators are sources of help if anyone is in trouble. This was the case involving Bus Operator Torrie Hopkins near 76th and Hampton one night. The young woman told Torrie that she had run away to escape a domestic violence incident. Torrie assured the woman that she would be safe onboard the bus. Torrie immediately contacted Dispatchers so the police could aid the woman. Thank you, Torrie, for your quick thinking and compassion!
