Rider Information

With 45 Routes and 5,500 bus stops - MCTS is the best way to get around Milwaukee County.

Riding the bus can seem complicated if you are unfamiliar with how it all works. To help, we put together a few easy steps to help guide you through a trip with MCTS.

How to Ride

MCTS takes pride in being accessible to all riders. To learn more about the accessibility features we offer, visit our Transit Plus - ParaTransit & Travel Training Pages.

Whether you're an avid cyclist, riding for exercise, or just for fun, MCTS makes it easy to take your bike on the bus.

Bikes on Buses

If you're bringing children with you on the bus, here are some helpful tips and safety reminders.

Traveling with Kids

We help you connect to the community while also reducing congestion on the roads and greenhouse gases in the air - that's something we can all get behind.

All our buses are fully ADA accessible and we're proud to be bike and stroller friendly. We offer Real-Time bus arrival information and on board audio announcements for all stops and transfer points.
