Summerfest 2019

June 26 - June 30 & July 2 - July 7

Music fans can count on the Milwaukee County Transit System for convenient and affordable rides to and from Summerfest! MCTS provides three great transportation options for anyone enjoying the sights, sounds and tastes of the World’s Largest Music Festival:

  1. Summerfest Freeway Flyers (Buy your Pre>Fare ticket now!)
  2. Summerfest Downtown Shuttle
  3. Local Routes

Boarding & Payment Process for Summerfest

To speed up boarding times at Park-Ride lots during the Big Gig, all Summerfest Freeway Flyer riders will pay their roundtrip fare after they get off the bus at Summerfest. Once you pay your fare, you'll receive a wristband that is required to get back on the bus when you're ready to leave. Riders without a wristband will be able buy one for their return trip by paying the full fare. The wristband is valid only on the day of purchase. This policy is only in place for Summerfest Freeway Flyers and does not impact the Summerfest Downtown Shuttle or Local Routes (riders on those routes will still pay when they board the bus).
